The Red States are Leeching off the Blue States

The red states regularly like to taunt blue states such as New York and California over the financial troubles these large blue states experience. What the red states fail to mention is that the blue states are propping up the red states, as the blue states receive far less back from the federal government than they pay, while the red states are welfare cases, receiving far more from the federal government than they pay.

Click on this this interactive chart to see just which states are subsidizing others.

If the red state conservatives truly practiced what they preached, they would stop living on the backs of California taxpayers and confront the big and expensive governments in their own states. If everyone truly lived on his own abilities, as the conservatives frequently exhort, these red states would be forced to pay their own way and either raise taxes significantly or reduce the size of government.

As we all know conservatives love government more than freedom, so don't expect the red states to engage in any freedom restoration by decriminalizing acts, as conservatives enjoy their punishment plays far too much to embrace frugality and Liberty.

Here's Something Sick and Creepy

Upon hearing that the silly and stupid Pledge of Allegiance won't be read, the assembled group of statists rises and engages in ritualistic behaviour, on their own.

These people are sick and scary. Pledges of loyalty to pieces of cloth are outright nonsensical and dangerous, and ritual behaviours are the way virgins get sacrificed and people get loaded onto boxcars.

We would be better off of we scrapped the stupid Pledge and if we ceased any and all forms of loyalty oaths.

I'd like to see the stupid Pledge booed. Stupid, sick, holier than thou statists looking for ever opportunity to show their loyalty to the government will strip us of our liberties.

Are You a Republican? You Might Be Sick.

Everyone owes it to their country to learn about Right Wing Authoritarianism, a sickness which seems to afflict only those on the Republican side. One wonders: do people become afflicted with RWA after joining the Republicans, or is the Republican Party a support group for these sick people?

Make no mistake about authoritarians. For all their bluster on Fox News about supporting freedom, these people care little about it. They're dangerous people who want to shackle everyone with some form of handcuff. "Social Conservatism," a staggering misnomer, is nothing but an attempt to turn the country into an open-air prison. Unhappily, the ranks of gun owners are overrun with these sick people, and I mean overrun. By my own crude estimate, I'd peg the amount of RWA's in the ranks of gun owners at 80%.

As I am also a gun owner, seeing my fellow company makes me ponder the hobby I've chosen. I wonder whether gun ownership is always a manifestation of a sickness, or whether guns are merely a mechanical recreation implement, little different than motorcycles, boats or dune buggies. Are there perhaps a few healthy people amidst the gun owners?

Right Wing Authoritarianism is characterized as the convergence of three disturbing personality traits:

1. Authoritarian submission — a high degree of submissiveness to the authorities who are perceived to be established and legitimate in the society in which one lives.

2. Authoritarian aggression — a general aggressiveness directed against deviants, outgroups, and other people that are perceived to be targets according to established authorities.

3. Conventionalism — a high degree of adherence to the traditions and social norms that are perceived to be endorsed by society and its established authorities.

RWA's are likely to show the following behaviours:

1: Faulty Reasoning — Right-wing authoritarians (RWAs) are more likely to:

* Make many incorrect inferences from evidence.
* Hold contradictory ideas that result from a cognitive attribute known as compartmentalized thinking, as illustrated by Orwellian doublethink.
* Uncritically accept that many problems are ‘our most serious problem.’
* Uncritically accept insufficient evidence that supports their beliefs.
* Uncritically trust people who tell them what they want to hear.
* Use many double standards in their thinking and judgments.

2: Hostility Toward Outgroups — RWAs are more likely to:

* Weaken constitutional guarantees of liberty such as a Bill of Rights
* Severely punish ‘common’ criminals in a role-playing situation.
* Admit they obtain personal pleasure from punishing such people.
* Be prejudiced against and hostile towards racial, ethnic, national, sexual, and linguistic minorities.
* Volunteer to help the government persecute almost anyone.
* Be mean-spirited toward those who have made mistakes and suffered.

3: Profound Character Attributes — RWAs are more likely to:

* Be dogmatic.
* Be zealots.
* Be hypocrites.
* Be absolutists
* Be bullies when they have power over others.
* Help cause and inflame intergroup conflict.
* Seek dominance over others by being competitive and destructive in situations requiring cooperation.

4: Blindness To One’s Own Failings And To The Failings Of Authority Figures Whom They Respect— RWAs are more likely to:

* Believe they have no personal failings.
* Avoid learning about their personal failings.
* Be highly self-righteous.
* Use religion to erase guilt over their acts and to maintain their self-righteousness.

If you are a gun owner or a Republican, please read Bob Altemeyer's excellent book, and see if you need professional help.

I can assure you that life is happier if you're not an authoritarian.

A Shockingly Disappointing Comment from the Gun Forums

Over at Indiana Gun Owners, I happened upon this wrong-headed bit of statism:

From kingnereli:

We also must lose the mentality that any third party candidate is going to be president any time before all of us here are dust. It's a nice try to just make Bush and Obama seem the same to bolster fringe candidates in the future. A large part of Bush's spending was on a just war, defending liberty. I'm not interested in putting a price tag on that. Secondly, social conservatism is far more important than fiscal conservatism. It's big perk if a politician/candidate is fiscally conservative but spending more money than I would like them too is quite forgivable if they align with me on social issue.

Regarding Ron Paul, he will never ever be president. Voting for him or anyone like him is a waste of a vote and makes you just as responsible for Obama's brand of liberals winning elections as people who actually voted for the liberals.

I have to presume this man actually believes what he says, as it is a rare man who openly issues a stream of such bald lies and expects to receive anything but ridicule.

He states: "It's a nice try to just make Bush and Obama seem the same to bolster fringe candidates in the future." "Fringe?" Really? Does this man contend that probity is only found in parties of large membership? If so, that's a formidable non sequitur, as parties of large membership have committed some of the greatest acts of genocide ever seen on Earth. Further, how is "fringe" calculated? The Libertarians, Socialists, Marxists, Greens, etc. all have millions of members, apiece, and Socialists, worldwide, vastly outnumber the ranks of American Republicans. When taken in a global view, the dumb American, Bible-beating, Country-Music, hayseed, war-lover is a kooky small faction that the rest of the world finds a danger to peace. "Fringe," indeed.

He continues: "A large part of Bush's spending was on a just war, defending liberty." And hot-air balloons are used to tunnel deep in the earth, right? This cannot be more spectacularly wrong. It's just an outright, bald-faced, lie. The wars are lies that have destroyed Liberty and our economy, have murdered hundreds of thousands of innocents abroad, have returned our troops to being indiscriminate murderers, and have made America an international war criminal and pariah.

In defense of murder and giving the world a perpetual vendetta against America, he says: "I'm not interested in putting a price tag on that." Well, you should be. Assuming that Muslims were responsible for 9/11, is the solution to box cutters on airplanes a three, four or five trillion-dollar perpetual war or hardened airplane cockpit doors, at a trillionth of the cost? Is the solution to Muslims with box cutters a multi-billion dollar Homeland Security Administration that has destroyed the last remnants of freedom or, again, those cheap cockpit doors? 9/11 was a convenient means to impose martial law on America, and, sadly, those suffering from Right Wing Authoritarianism have rallied behind this power grab to steal their neighbor's freedom in turning America into a closed society.

He's not finished: "Secondly, social conservatism is far more important than fiscal conservatism." "Social Conservatism" is one of History's great oxymorons. Social Conservatives are nothing more than hard-Left fascists who want a powerful government to force you to live as they choose. A Social Conservative is one of the world's most noxious and dangerous predators, and we'd all live happier and freer if they didn't exist.

He concludes his attack on Liberty by saying: "Regarding Ron Paul, he will never ever be president. Voting for him or anyone like him is a waste of a vote and makes you just as responsible for Obama's brand of liberals winning elections as people who actually voted for the liberals."

Kiddo, voting for a Republican is the truest a waste of a vote, as its a vote for a full-on police state. A vote for a Democrat is also a wasted vote, as their police state is just about as total as the Republicans'. If "Liberal" is synonymous with the size of government, then there is nothing more "Liberal" than a Republican.

Posts such as this confirm that a return to freedom in this country will not come by the aid of gun owners, and even more terrifyingly, this post confirms that gun owners will be among the first to defend the state's ability to keep its boot on your neck. If a freedom movement awakens in America, it will first have to fight off the gun owners before it can begin to unshackle itself from the state's chains.

Will the Cowardly Cop Stop Hiding Behind his Badge?

I would pay big money to see this cop beaten into a pulp by his victim. Will the cop have the guts to quit hiding behind his badge and allow justice to be served?

Remember, pro-cop is anti-freedom. Let's hope this starts a national trend, and we can all seek more direct justice from these professional abusers.

Man Protests Treatment By Challenging Cop To MMA Fight

BYRNES MILL, MO (KTVI-FOX2now.com) —
Rich Stephens was an offensive lineman for the Oakland Raiders in the 90's but he's going on the offensive now against a Byrnes Mill police department. He claims officer Tim Walker mistreated him during a traffic stop so he took out a full page ad in a paper challenging him to a fight. He would plan to sell tickets and donate proceeds to Backstoppers.

He is also driving around his pickup truck with a giant sandwich board sign on both sides asking what's short, fat and round all over. The next line says a Byrnes Mill cop.

"Everywhere I drive this truck people honk their horns give me thumbs up. It's been overwhelming," said Stephens.

His idea of a joke is no laughing matter to the Byrnes Mill police department.

"My opinion is it's borderline harassment and making a threat against a law enforcement officer," said Chief Ed Locke, Byrnes Mill police.

Stephens says he would do the Mixed Martial Arts fight by the books, on a fight card, and sell tickets.

"I'm taking all the money donating it to Backstoppers," said Stephens. "I just want his head on my hand."

Stephens decided to not to file a formal complaint saying he expects more results his way.

The police chief says formal complaints are investigated and feels poking fun of the police goes too far.

"If every officer that pulled someone over and they weren't happy, if they were challenged to a fighting match certainly those officers would all be suspended or lose their job," said Locke.

The police department says Stephens never filed a formal complaint so they're not talking either.

Are Gun Owners Stupid?

I wonder, why are gun owners among the dumber people you'll ever encounter? I further wonder whether stupid people are drawn in large numbers to guns by nature or nurture? We must be honest about this discipline: there are abundant stereotypes of gun owners, and few of them are flattering. As a long-time gun owner, having long been immersed in the gun community, I must say with a large measure of displeasure that many of these negative stereotypes are true.

Take, for example, a poster named JeepSeller on OpenCarry.org. By trade, he's a radiological technician at some prison, a low occupation in a low job in a low work environment, all properly befitting the aspirations and capabilities of a lower person. Low persons, like weaker animals, find comfort in finding a place in the group and adopting a herd mentality.

A quick review of this unerudite's posts reveals a man who despises individualism and cherishes having a place in a group. He never leads by proffering his own opinions, and he never speaks unless it is to join the clear and established momentum of the group. He only advocates the advancement of governmental power and the diminishment of citizens' rights, again acting on his deep desire to seek the comfort of group power and eschewing the solitary Liberty of individualism. He has an abiding desire to force all into a common group identity, and he's a champion of reducing the greater to salve the ego of the lesser man, of which he, himself, is one.

By any fair accounting, he's a dim-witted man with little insight. He regularly loses those few arguments into which he foolishly enters, and his ordinary course, when invariably bested, is to seek the assistance of a senior group member to silence the discussion, allowing him to slink away in the vain hope of saving face.

A trifling and failed man, to be certain, but his failed ilk is far too common in the ranks of gun owners. JeepSeller is emblematic of so many of the stultified persons you'll find in the gun community. A review of gun forums finds post upon post that is poorly composed, lacking in the elements of structure, absent the rudiments of concept progression, sown with spelling errors, built atop logical fallacies and most often, written in rage, with all the shallowness rage commands. Shallow persons such as JeepSeller are fiercely bitter at those more educated, more refined and globally better than themselves, so this bitterness only enhances the general anti-intellectual climate of the gun community.

What is it about guns that attracts the lesser lights, the left half of the bell curve? Ought thinking men to be part of the corpus of gun owners? Are there many intelligent men in the ranks of gun owners?  One finds that the larger concentrations of college graduates contain the least percentage of gun ownership. The inverse is also true. Do broken people such as JeepSeller drive decent people from the gun community? How much do we ask of an educated man to share his time and company with a dunce such as JeepSeller? Does not the educated man have better things to do? Does the educated man worry about becoming infected with the low habits, attitudes and thoughts of lesser men such as JeepSeller? Does the educated man not rightly worry about being seen in the company of bitter, failed and lowbrow men such as JeepSeller?

Gun owners were not always thought of so poorly. Gun owners used to be men of stature and letters. Let us aim for better. Let us restore the image of gun owners and begin to reclaim to our ranks the educated man who now rarely dares to tread among us. Let gun owners be thankful for those of the leadership class who join their ranks, and let the follower class of gun owners mind its tongue and manners around the leaders. Let the follower class speak infrequently and only when permitted. Let the followers such as JeepSeller ask the leaders for permission to speak, and let each follower communicate only privately with a leader on matters of confusion or dispute, so that the follower be given the proper study and not diminish the public perception of gun owners.

Gun owners can improve their public perception and the general enjoyment, fulfilment and tenor of participation in the gun community, but each gun owner must first know his place in the ranks if we are to get to such a happy land. For most gun owners, particularly those of JeepSeller's strata, that place is a silent one, letting the better men hold the tiller and tend to the orating.

When Are We Going to Fight Back?

The occupying army attacks another citizen, and we cowards do nothing.

Taser Used On Man Trying To Save Pets From Burning Home

It's so pathetic to hear the Republicans and Tea Partiers talk about "taking back the country," as if putting the government back in their statist hands will hasten a return to Liberty.

Poppycock.

Those people are the ones who cheered the creation of the police state under which we now suffer. Voting Democrat or Republican merely perpetuates the status quo.

I See the Dimwits and Cowards at OpenCarry Have Found My Blog

Over at OpenCarry.org, the freedom-haters and statists are nervously laughing about being called out on this site for their attacks on gun owners.

As usual, they're cowards in their approach. If they want to talk about me on their blog, they should be men for this one single instance in their lives, and let me respond there.

As they were outmatched when I was there, and as I have not lessened my loathing of freedom-haters, I doubt they'll have much desire to again suffer my blows on their very feeble heads.

A cop lover is a greater enemy to freedom than the most ardent Leftist gun-banner. N.B. that a cop-lover is, himself, a true Leftist.

There Is No Justice for the Citizens

Cops can kill us, at will, and only rarely do they face any sanctions.

This cop committed outright murder and received a conviction for involuntary manslaughter. Our pigs are nothing but an occupying army, and we are not their equal. When we kill them, we are met with street assassinations or executions, but when they kill us, it's more akin to cruelty to animals. There is no justice as long as this pig does not receive the same sentence any Californian would receive for deliberately murdering a cop.

California (Reuters) - A white former transit police officer was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in a videotaped shooting death of an unarmed black man last year in Oakland, California, sparking a wave of looting and destruction in the city on Thursday.

Here's the videotape of the cop murdering an unarmed prisoner at point-blank range.

OpenCarry.org Bans Mark Marchiafava

Opencarry.org, a gun board for cowards and statists, has banned its greatest member, Mark Marchiafava. I shouldn't diffuse the accountability, as the responsible party is identifiable: John Pierce. Pierce is a true coward and statist who runs from controversy and believes gun owners should act meekly and mildly toward police and should give police full respect and compliance. Pierce believes gun owners should not speak too publicly or vociferously on the evils of police or the threat these armed goons pose to our freedom. Pierce makes regular practice of banning members on Opencarry.org who are particularly biting in their criticism of police, and he acts all the quicker to ban those who note that police are especially dangerous to gun owners. Pierce lashes out at anyone who observes that police power and a free citizenry are mutually exclusive. Pierce will even ban Opencarry.org members upon request of police officers who complain on other discussion boards. Make no mistake, John Pierce is no friend of civil rights or our cause.

Mr. Marchiafava was the only person on Opencarry.org who had ever personally done a thing to advance open carry of firearms. He dared to carry openly in Gonzales, Louisiana, as he knew such carry was permitted under Louisiana law. The Gonzales Police Department ignored Mr. Marchiafava's right to carry, surrounded him with armed paramilitary thug police scum with guns drawn, and forced him to the ground, at gunpoint. As the Gonzales Police Department trampled all over Mr. Marchiafava's rights and the law that day, Gonzales settled with Marchiafava by providing him with two motorcycles, one of which is well known to real gun owners as the "Freedom Bike."

Not content with merely censoring Marchiafava and stamping out his free speech, Pierce has acted as a good totalitarian thug by deleting every post Marchiafava made to Opencarry.org. As Marchiafava was a frequent and regular contributor to Opencarry.org, his posting history was extensive and served as Opencarry.org's best archive to those who wanted to learn the true nature of gun rights and freedom. Pierce's actions are Orwellian, and he stands as en enduring example that some of the worst enemies to freedom and gun ownership are certain gun owners who hold very dangerous and evil beliefs. These interlopers travel among us and outwardly appear to be real gun owners, but their nature is deeply sinister. They serve collectivized power, social control and the state. They quickly reveal their hostility to the pro-freedom, pro-peace desires of the real gun owner.

By attacking Mr. Marchiafava, Opencarry.org has proven the long-held indictment that they are an enemy of all gun owners. All members and promoters of Opencarry.com should be ostracized by all real gun owners and barred from all gun functions, discussions and conferences.

Can Any Gun Owner Be Pro-Cop?

Our freedoms face only one threat in this country: the cops. Without the cops, we could do as we please. The government could make all the annoying laws it wants, but without thugs with guns to push us around, we could cheerily ignore whatever silly edict the government passed. For all the well documented problems gun owners have had with armed governmental agents, no gun owner has been shot, assaulted, battered, tortured or intimidated at the barrel of a zoning inpector.

No, it's only the cops who hurt us, who put guns in our faces, who shoot us, who give teeth to immoral "laws." Without the cops, we could fully and freely exercise our right to keep and bear arms. Without the cops, each and every one of us could strap on a .357 and walk through Manhattan in conducting our affairs.

No real gun owner is pro-cop. No advocate of limited government is pro-cop.

Know the Three Truths.

Hey, Dumb Gun Owners, Christ is the "Prince of Peace"

How is it that so many dumb gun owners claim to be Christian but support the horrible brutality and murder committed by police and military? While real gun owners obviously own guns, it's pretty evident that Christ wouldn't have owned a gun. It's pretty evident that Christ wouldn't have engaged in war or committed violence on another person. We're not Christ, so we can be hopefully forgiven for our fears and frailties, but a real gun owner only uses his gun for shooting sports, to feed his family or for his own defense. A real gun owner, a Christian gun owner, does not engage in or condone wars of election or brutality on others.

It's like the phony gun owners are trying to marry two disparate courses that they want to hold: violence and Christ. Instead of softening the violence to comport with Christ, they've toughened up the Christianity to justify the violence. By destroying Christianity's message, they've turned Christ into something ugly. The Prince of Peace is now the hillbilly God of War.

Around the country, we saw phony gun owners justify the slaughter of innocents in Wikileaks' courageous release of this video:

http://www.youtube.com/verify_age?next_url=http%3A//www.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3DgZNJm35V2_0

These murderers in the video and all those who justify the murder are not Christians and do not know Christ.

Man, Gun Owners are Dumb

Here's a thread from one of my favorite dumb gun forums that's full of phony gun owners, one of those forums where I made regular business of exposing the self-labeled "conservatives" as big-government liberals. Of course, I got banned for picking on them. It's fun to check in on their hypocrisy. Here's some stupidity where they all cheer big government:

http://ingunowners.com/forums/general_political_discussion/98917-why_we_must_reduce_military_spending.html

All real gun owners know the military is too big, is engaged in immoral wars, is bankrupting the country, and must be massively reduced as we end our foreign occupations. Phony gun owners, however, do not advocate limited government. They love big government, as long as it involves killing people who pose no threat to America. Phony gun owners think glory comes from military service. regardless of whether the military service has any connection to repelling invaders from America's shores.

Here's the truth, phony gun owners: if the war isn't proper, service in the war isn't laudable. Real gun owners are presently encouraging people not to join the military and be a drain on their fellow citizens. Real gun owners tell people to do something in the private sector that actually creates wealth. Real gun owners know that service in the military is just another form of governmental employment, essentially no different than meter maid or building inspector.
